As one of our newest team members, Lauren Jones has proven herself to be an asset to our accounting firm here in the Grand Strand. Bookkeeping is her specialty, but there’s plenty more to know about this brilliant bookkeeper.
Before moving to Myrtle Beach, Lauren started out working in accounts payable. With over five years of experience in accounting, Lauren quickly fell into step in her role as a bookkeeper when she moved to Myrtle Beach and joined the GSCPAs team in 2014.
Lauren has always been good with numbers, and her numbers know-how continues to shine in her work in our accounting firm. As part a big firm with a small firm feel, Lauren loves being able to come together with the rest of the team to get the job done. Starting out, Jane was always happy to show Lauren the ropes, and the two continue to work together on a number of tasks. Lauren is always happy to see Karen’s smiling face, and she loves how outgoing and welcoming Tia is, both to her and to the clients who come to the firm.
Moving to Myrtle Beach not only gave Lauren a chance to work at one of the top CPA firms in the area, but it also afforded her a chance to take a fresh start on her life. She and her daughter love living in the area, with all of the beautiful nature, sunny weather, and activities that they can enjoy together. Lauren and her daughter spend a lot of time doing fun things together, and they love going to the beach and traveling. A seafood lover, Lauren found the right place to be: she absolutely loves a good seafood buffet!
